Dave Pollot is known for taking thrift store art and breathing new life into them with his creative incorporation of pop culture references. While we love all his works and spoke about them in our previous article, today we wanted to focus on his still-life paintings. We all love flowers but what do we love more than flowers? You guessed it, we love Big Mac, Kraft Mac and Cheese, and of course cleaning products! By arranging everyday products alongside the flowers Dave brings much needed cultural relevance to these old still-lifes while maintaining their original beauty.
