Beautiful and Bizarre, a look at Miki Kim
Tattoo artist Miki Kim gains influence from Japanese culture and blends it with pop culture in a very unique and bizarre way. Her drawings are simple in execution but complex in concept. These works often can make you laugh while also retaining a much deeper meaning. She uses soft lines and colors which work to soften the impact of the sometimes goosebump-inducing images.
“I’m definitely inspired by Hajime Sorayama. And by a lot of other Japanese artists including Nagai Hiroshi, Eizin Suzuki and Keiichi Tanaami.” – Miki Kim (via maybeyesmaybenomag)
