I just went to share some art on Instagram and of course, it’s not working but what is working is this blog! I love the fact I can upload podcasts and articles to my platform and host them anywhere I wish. So that means no matter what I can always share the art I’m enjoying. Yesterday was full of yard work and stress so today I needed to start with some relaxing artwork, and the artist I picked to explore today was Mark jeffrey R. Santos.
Born and working in the Philippines Mark creates works that focus on characters navigating a fantasy world all within a contemporary style. Santos’s previous work in film and visual arts has provided a deeper understanding of world-building. He paints a fantasy world onto the canvas that begs the viewer to go on an adventure.
