Simple Elegance, that’s how I would describe the works by Alyson Shotz. Those two words say it all, its simple yet it’s beautiful. From small tabletop sculptures to the huge hanging fixtures Ayson’s artistic style and inspirations continue to shine through. Her sculptures time and time again reach out and grab my full attention making me forget about the numerous task that needed to be completed that day. Her works remind me of how art can change the total atmosphere of the room it inhabits. And in a world full of over the top and exaggerated personalities its nice to be reminded of the beauty in simplicity.
