Mexican design meets Mediterranean in Delfino Lozano’s project titled “Casa A690”

In Mexico in a city called Zapopan sits a three-story home from the 1970s recently remodeled. The project titled ‘Casa A690’ was done by Mexican architect Delfino Lozano who mixes the materials used from home in the Mediterranean and Mexico has created a style he named “Mexiterrean.” The home sits on a rectangular ground floor with two blocks on top giving the structure a box appearance.

Environment-friendly treehouse on the coast of Costa Rica

A surfers paradise is the best way to describe this three-story treehouse built right in the middle of the forest overlooking the sandy beach of Costa Rica. Designed by Seattle-based company Olson Kundig Architects for a surfer client. Not only does is this client a surfer but they are an environmentalist so the project has to be environment friendly and leave as small of a footprint as possible.
