Morning Coffee Paintings by Graham Franciose
This weekend I find myself overwhelmed with anxiety. Why am I so anxious, truthfully I have no idea. Maybe it’s the thoughts of future plans and my inability to not overthink and overprepare. While feeling stuck in place on the chair I turned to art, the one medium that can always bring a spark of joy back into my mind. It was when I picked up my phone and stumbled upon the work of Graham Franciose that I became inspired.
Graham has a series of works called “Morning Coffee Paintings.” These paintings are exactly what you would expect, they are quick, watercolor, surreal, and fun paintings done every day(ish). Franciose has made many of these works but as I went deeper into the depths of his Instagram page I picked out a couple that stood out to me. I hope they bring you as much joy as they did me.
