Izzy Izvne turns buildings intro portals with her calligraphy murals
Calligraphy-style street art is nothing new however Izzy Izvne’s arrach to calligraphy takes it beyond its traditional style and into the outer reaches of space. Izzy’s choice of canvas is the sides of buildings in her hometown of Chisinau where she has covered the city in her mind-bending murals. Instead of repeating her letters over a wall and calling it a day she is able to turn her calligraphy into 3D portals.
These portals are like black holes that allow us to see beyond the concrete and into the void within the walls or even to a distant location in space.
