Comforting Photography By Milan Zrnic

Milan Zrnic as a teenager worked part-time at a local photo lab in South Florida. He fell in love with photography and could not get enough of it. He began by taking photos of his friends and family while using the beaches and tropical landscapes of his town as the backdrop. For Zrnic photography became more than a hobby but a career and took him to New York City than LA, where he now works with brands such as Vogue, Dazed, and The Gentlewoman.

His work can be described as calm and subtle. Allowing him to turn an ad for a clothing line into a work of art. An image that does not force the brand down your throat but welcomes you. Each image is a work of art before it is an ad. You notice the environment,  the warm tones, the faces and emotion before you notice the clothing. But once you do notice you become even more intrigued. His use of lighting in each photo is perfectly balanced between light and dark, creating a sense of comfort. Zrinc’s photography is much different from the traditional style we see in his industry, and its something we can’t get enough of.
